About the CreatorBOX

Tinkering, tinkering and programming: As a student team at the research campus, we work on technologically challenging projects and support research and development on the store floor.

The production of the future is characterized by increasingly complex problems and solutions. With the combination of our knowledge and experience in various specialist areas and our courage to find innovative solutions, we have so far managed to master every challenge and excel in the professional environment of ARENA2036.

Young, motivated and independent

Our team currently consists of students from the fields of computer science, natural sciences and technology and is growing bit by bit. This interdisciplinarity with the know-how of the open source community is our key to solving complex technical tasks.

We organize ourselves independently and distribute the task packages for projects in an agile and demand-oriented manner. We always involve the entire team in brief discussions so that everyone is always up to date. As a small team, we can react dynamically to new tasks together without wasting a lot of time in meetings.

How we support the ARENA2036 partner network

From mechanical design and electrical engineering to IT system administration, we support the partners of ARENA2036 and do not shy away from any topic. We are particularly happy to provide advice in the field of 3D printing. We are always interested in cooperating with ARENA2036's partner companies from industry and science.

What we are currently working on

Our latest project is the ARENA2036 Rapid Prototyping Service (ARPS), a fully automated 3D printing system. In this article from the University of Stuttgart's"Forschung leben" magazine, we talk about our current projects and give an insight into the development of ARPS.
