A broad project landscape

Our research encompasses a broad range of projects that help shape the future of mobility and shorten the time it takes to turn innovation into invention. Our research focuses on a wide variety of topics, ranging from applied basic research to technology transfer. All projects can be accessed via the page navigation.

Joint projects

The four projects of the Research Campus initiative—CARpulse, Well-Defined, Connect4HCA, and EcoFrame—share a common goal: a resilient, connected, and sustainable future for mobility and production. They were developed as part of the Research Campus initiative—a public-private partnership for innovation—and are funded, among others, by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space (BMFTR). They serve as strategic beacons for our four research priorities: mobility and production. In the third funding phase, in which the Research Campus currently finds itself, the goal is to achieve closer integration with shared research priorities and thus align the collaborative projects toward a common objective.
