The submission phase for the Bordnetze Digital Congress 2025 has ended. Experts from industry and research had until April 30, 2025 to submit their presentation proposals and thus contribute to the content of the upcoming congress.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed exciting articles on the key topics of digitalization, automation and innovation in wiring system development.

The contributions are currently being selected. The program of the Bordnetze Digital Congress 2025 is expected to be published at the end of May.

 

Main topics of the Bordnetze Digital Congress 2025

This year's event will focus on practical contributions with concrete application scenarios, new impulses and innovative approaches in the following areas:

  • Digital product model: Comprehensive digital product model for the entire Wire Harness.
  • Digital twin: Integration and interaction of distributed digital models in the life cycle of vehicle electrical systems.
  • Industrial cloud: embedding in overarching industrial cloud ecosystems such as Catena-X, Gaia-X, Dataspaces and the I4.0 AssetAsset Administration Shell.
  • Automation and DIN 72036: Automation of wire harness production and the application and further development of DIN 72036.
  • Digitization projects: Implementation of digitization projects by system providers.
  • Networked machines: Use of networked machines for optimized production.
  • Data feedback: Efficient feedback of data from production to improve processes and products.
