Call for Papers Digital 2026 Vehicle Electrical Systems

Submit your entry by March 31, 2026.

The congress addresses current developments in the digitization of vehicle electrical system development and manufacturing. We are looking for practical technical papers with concrete application examples, methodological approaches, and implementable solution strategies.

 

Key topics of the Bordnetze Digital Congress 2026

Contributions are particularly welcome on the following topics:

  • Digital product models: Umfassende digitale Produktmodelle für den Leitungssatz und seine Komponenten unter Anwendung von KBL, VEC und AAS.
  • Agentic AI in engineering: Approaches to using AI in engineering, as well as necessary prerequisites and challenges, e.g., trustworthiness, traceability, reproducibility, and data security.
  • From digital twins to product passports: Distributed digital twins and traceability across the entire Wire Harness.
  • Industrial cloud: embedding in overarching industrial cloud ecosystems such as Catena-X, Gaia-X, Dataspaces and the I4.0 AssetAsset Administration Shell.
  • Automation and DIN 72036: Automation of wire harness production and the application and further development of DIN 72036.
  • Networked machines: Use of networked machines for optimized production.
  • Data-driven services and IoT: Efficient use of manufacturing data to improve processes and products.
  • Digitization projects: Implementation of digitization projects by system providers.

Other relevant digitalization topics in the context of vehicle electrical system development are also welcome. Best practices from related industries may be submitted, provided there is a clear transfer relevance.

 

Requirements for submission

Interested speakers are invited to submit an abstract (max. 400 words) with the title of their presentation by March 31, 2026, via email to bordnetze-digital@prostep.org. To submit your abstract, please fill out the submission form and attach it to your email.
