Our review of the Hannover Messe 2022
With over 75,000 visitors, the 2022 Hannover Messe was, overall, a great start to the return to trade show operations. ARENA2036 would also like to say “THANK YOU!” for the overwhelming feedback from guests and the many exciting, inspiring encounters and conversations during the trade show week—whether directly at one of our three booths or over coffee at one of the many networking events. We were delighted by the consistently high level of interest in our demonstrators and projects, and it motivates us to give our all in our joint research efforts in the years to come.
A big thank you goes to our hosts from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Baden-Württemberg international and Plattform Industrie 4.0, who invited us to their stands and looked after us very well on site. We were delighted with the many guests and their positive response to our work. We are particularly pleased with the visits from Federal Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger, State Secretary Judith Pirscher, Ina Schieferdecker, Head of the Research Department for Digitalization and Innovation at the BMBF and State Secretary Thomas Wünsch and the great dialogue with them.
At the BMBF stand, the ARENA2036 team presented the rolling chassis of the FlexCAR project. The innovative mobility and development concept gave rise to numerous intensive discussions with guests from all over the world and all conceivable sectors. We will carry the many new contacts and ideas forward into our future work. In "The LÄND", we were represented by one of the start-ups working on our research campus: Peakboard presented itself together with other innovation drivers from the southwest at the Baden-Württemberg international stand and was thus able to achieve valuable reach and new contacts for itself and ARENA2036. A few doors down, in Hall 8 at the Plattform Industrie 4.0 stand, our projects Innovationsinitiative Leistungssatz (IILS), Catena-X and the Asset Administration Shell for the Wire Harness AAS4WH) were represented. The impressive demonstrator shows the Wire Harness of a Mercedes Benz C-Class in a body over three meters high.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our very special thanks to all employees who have represented ARENA2036 so energetically and persistently. Without you, we would not be the research campus that we are!
