Visit to the Siemens appliance factory in Erlangen

During ARENA2036's visit to the Siemens appliance plant in Erlangen on January 9, it became clear how the Industrial Metaverse realizes concrete potential for efficiency increases and cost savings.

A key part of the program was the presentation at the Impact Experience Center, the Siemens center for digital transformation. Here, the participants learned from experts how modern metaverse technologies are used in areas such as product development, building planning, production automation and commissioning to achieve significant progress and optimize processes.

In the subsequent workshop, the use cases shown were discussed in depth. Together with representatives from companies such as Siemens, Mercedes, Nokia, Intel, FARO, SPIE, DXC and ISG, ideas were developed on how these technologies can be transferred to specific corporate contexts.
