Membership Basics

ARENA2036 is a registered association that brings together stakeholders from academia, industry, and startups under one roof. This legal framework lays the foundation for trust-based collaboration on neutral ground—from idea development to the joint implementation of innovative projects.
Organizations that bring their own ideas from research and development and wish to actively contribute them to the network are eligible to become members. In addition to a willingness to cooperate, key factors include a desire to help shape the network and a shared understanding of the motto “Innovation through Collaboration.”

The admission process for ARENA2036 e.V. consists of several coordinated steps and ensures a structured integration into the research campus ecosystem.

1. Initial Contact and Orientation
During an initial meeting, we will jointly discuss key topics, technological interests, and possible project approaches. The goal is to identify relevant points of connection within the network.

2. Alignment of Content
The interests and areas of expertise brought to the table are aligned with ARENA2036’s existing research and development activities in order to identify suitable areas for collaboration and opportunities for joint projects.

3. Formal Application
Once the content has been approved, the application documents will be sent to you. After an internal review, these will be submitted to the Board of Directors for a decision on membership.

4. Onboarding
Once the Executive Board has given its approval, the structured onboarding process begins. It ensures a smooth professional, organizational, and communicative integration into the ARENA2036 ecosystem.
