ARENA2036 research campus presents future technologies at Hannover Messe 2025
With its new look, the ARENA2036 research campus has once again demonstrated its innovative strength.
The completely revamped stand design showcased the diversity of projects under the roof of the ARENA2036 research campus, creating an informative and successful trade fair presence. In addition to various named projects on the unique roof construction, the presentation of the latest developments in the projects was particularly successful. Digitain, Asset Administration Shell for the Wire Harness or Industrial Metaverse together with Transfer-XThe aim was to present decisive impulses for the digital transformation and the future of industrial production. Fortunately, the project Industrial Metaverse also the ARENA2036 member FARO Europe was represented at the stand and impressed with the latest scanning and measurement technology. In addition, the project Transformation hub for the Wire Harness on site, which implements the cross-campus research cooperation, in this case with the Open Hybrid LabFactory together with Bayern Innovativ, and acts as a link between research and industry.
The focus was particularly on the topics of digital twins, fully digital product development and certification as well as data rooms as key technologies for Industry 4.0 and the industrial metaverse.
Canada, the partner country of this year's Hannover Messe, was represented in several halls, as were various members of ARENA2036, such as Siemens AG, Pilz GmbH & Co. KG, Bär Automation GmbH, Robert Bosch GmbH, the University of Stuttgart and a selection of Fraunhofer Institutes. The management of the association, consisting of Peter Froeschle and Georg Schnauffer, took the opportunity to hold strategic discussions with the members and relevant stakeholders. Peter Froeschle says: "For us, the trade fair was not only a platform for presenting our research, but above all a place to meet. The constructive exchange with our partners will have a decisive influence on the further development of the campus.
Deputy Managing Director Georg Schnauffer particularly praised the renewed placement: "With our location in Hall 8, we specifically drew attention to our solutions for the digital industry. The environment was ideal for presenting our projects in the context of networking, automation and innovation."
The positive feedback from members already associated with the campus, as well as from the specialist audience at this year's trade fair, underlines the relevance and international orientation of Germany's research campuses, so that their presence will also be guaranteed next year.
