Industrial Metaverse real-world laboratory ARENA2036 receives official project approval

During a formal handover ceremony, ARENA2036 received the approval notice for the project "Industrial Metaverse Real-World Laboratory ARENA2036 in the Baden-Württemberg Metaverse Ecosystem." The notice was presented by Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economic Affairs, Labor, and Tourism for the State of Baden-Württemberg.

With this new project, ARENA2036 is further expanding its role as a beacon for testing and demonstrating the industrial metaverse in Baden-Württemberg. Together with partner projects from Fraunhofer IAO, Fraunhofer IPA, and Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH, a strong innovation network is being created.

The project builds on the successful foundations of the "Real-world laboratory for an industrial metaverse in ARENA2036" project. The funding will now enable the targeted expansion towards a collaborative industrial metaverse. The focus is on new content, expanded fields of application, and additional perspectives through cross-innovation.
