Symbol of innovation: new logo for ARENA2036

We proudly present our new figurative mark for ARENA2036, which now adorns the primary logo in combination with the familiar word mark. This new figurative mark not only stands for the further development of our visual appearance, but also for the deeper meaning of the mission of our research campus: the close integration of business, science and teaching.

The new figurative mark: a symbol of cooperation and progress

At the center of the new logo is a triangle that symbolizes the equal participation of business, science and teaching. These three pillars of our work are the foundation on which ARENA2036 is built and which strengthens our innovative power.

The recess in the triangle is of particular significance. It stands for our shared focus on the future and, inspired by Goethe's credo "More light!", it shows a spotlight that is directed at cutting-edge research, our innovative spirit and our collective drive within the innovation platform.

But the recess is more than just a symbol of light - it can also be interpreted as a road leading into the future. This road refers to the origin of the Stuttgart region's economic success and the core of our work: the automobile.

The "thinking ahead" of the recess forms another triangle that represents the innovations that emerge from ARENA2036's research work and are put into practice. This shows that our ideas and developments do not remain in the laboratory, but are actively taken out into the world.

More vibrant and emotional: the new ARENA2036 orange

With the introduction of the new logo, our ARENA2036 orange has also been slightly modified. It now radiates more vibrancy and emotion, further emphasizing the modern and dynamic character of the research campus. The new orange is versatile and is perfect for dark and light backgrounds as well as for all print products.

Use of the new logos

From now on, the combination of figurative mark and word mark will be the primary logo of ARENA2036. However, the figurative mark and word mark can also be used separately as secondary logos. The secondary logos can be used according to the following rule of thumb:

  • Use of figurative mark: Alternative to primary logo for very small or square areas (e.g. profile icon) and as a design element
  • Use of word mark: Alternative to primary logo if reduced form is desired in documents or the name "ARENA2036" is to be shown on small areas
