RKW BW Dialogue at ARENA2036 Shows: Automation Is Becoming a Key Success Factor for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses

How can small and medium-sized enterprises design their intralogistics to be flexible, cost-effective, and future-proof? The RKW BW Dialogue “DIY Intralogistics – Dynamic. Flexible. Scalable.”, which took place on July 14 at ARENA2036. In collaboration with RKW Baden-Württemberg, the research campus brought together experts from industry and research to discuss practical solutions and current developments in the field of robotic intralogistics.

Participants gained insights into specific applications and technological approaches from experts in the ARENA2036 network. It became clear that modern intralogistics solutions are not only of interest to large companies but also open up new opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises. Flexible robotics, intelligent systems, and scalable automation concepts can help make production processes more efficient and prepare them for future challenges.

In addition to the technical presentations, the event focused in particular on personal exchanges. Representatives from industry, research, and technology companies came together to discuss opportunities, challenges, and concrete ways to implement these ideas. The dialogue demonstrated that successful innovations arise primarily through networking and the transfer of knowledge into industrial practice.

We would like to thank all participants, speakers, and partners for the valuable exchange and the many insights.

The highlights of the event are summarized in the aftermovie:
