Sina Scheidle to Become New Deputy Chair of the Board at the ARENA2036 Research Campus

The ARENA2036 Research Campus welcomes Sina Scheidle as its new Deputy Chair. She succeeds Arno Van der Merwe and will serve as the representative of Mercedes-Benz AG on the board.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Arno van der Merwe for his many years of dedication and the trusting collaboration he has demonstrated on the Executive Board. Sina Scheidle is currently Vice President of Manufacturing Engineering at Mercedes-Benz AG. In this role, she is responsible for key areas of production and manufacturing development. Her professional career includes international assignments at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International and Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. With her experience in industrial transformation, global production networks, and technological innovation, she brings valuable perspectives to the strategic development of the research campus.

Inaugural visit on February 16

During her inaugural visit on February 16, Sina Scheidle gained insights into ongoing research and knowledge transfer projects on campus. The focus was particularly on exchanging ideas with other association members and project teams on key future topics. The board of the ARENA2036 Research Campus looks forward to future collaboration and warmly welcomes Sina Scheidle as a member of the board.
