WOMEN OF TECH CONFERENCE '26 at ARENA2036: Three days of networking, insights, and innovation

We’ve had three intense days filled with discussion, new perspectives, and inspiring encounters: Following the first WOMEN OF TECH Hackathon at TRUMPF, the WOMEN OF TECH CONFERENCE '26 took place over two days at ARENA2036.

Together with #SheTransformsIT, numerous partners, and a growing community, we welcomed over 500 attendees to our campus this year. This made the WOMEN OF TECH CONFERENCE bigger than ever and sent a strong message about diversity, networking, and actively shaping the future of technology.

Shaping the Future: Connecting People and Machines

Under this year’s theme, “Connecting Human and Machine,” the focus was particularly on issues related to collaboration, transformation, and responsible technology development.

Through presentations, panel discussions, interactive sessions, and one-on-one conversations, it became clear just how crucial diverse perspectives are for innovation and sustainable progress. The focus was not only on technological developments, but also on the question of how humans and machines can work together in the future in a spirit of trust, creativity, and responsibility.

Exchange, networking, and new perspectives

The interdisciplinary exchange between academia, industry, startups, and society was particularly valuable. The conference highlighted the importance of spaces where people can engage in dialogue, learn from one another, and develop new ideas together.

The WOMEN OF TECH CONFERENCE is not only a platform for professional exchange, but also aims to increase the visibility of women in the technology industry and foster strong networks that extend beyond the event itself.

Creative Inspiration on the Research Campus

In addition to the professional program, creative and cultural contributions also helped create the event’s unique atmosphere. Tape art artist André Brüggemann transformed the conference into a vibrant gathering space with his works.

In addition, visitors were able to experience the exhibition “Faces of Change” by Simone Rieß and Katharina Rust, which features portraits of strong women from the region.

As a research and innovation campus, we are delighted to have hosted and co-organized the WOMEN OF TECH CONFERENCE '26. The past few days have clearly demonstrated how valuable strong networks, diverse perspectives, and collaborative efforts are for the future of technology and work.
