Virtual info session "Open source in Manufacturing-X projects"
Data room-based collaboration is a key digitalization topic for the industry in order to remain competitive and resilient in the long term.
Open source for data room-based industry collaboration
Under the umbrella of Manufacturing-X, a number of industry-specific projects have already started or are getting ready to do so. Whether Factory-X, Semiconductor-X or Robot-X, to name but a few, what they all have in common is the need for uniform rules and standards, the pursuit of a technological basis and the desire for data exchange services on the basis of which cross-industry interoperability and compatibility can be guaranteed.
Utilizing the pioneering work of Tractus-X
As a pioneering project, Catena-X has laid important foundations and carried out pioneering work in the Tractus-X development project. Outside of Catena-X, however, there is still a lack of knowledge about the existing technological basis, the fundamentals that are freely and openly available to everyone in open source and the overall context of this first live data ecosystem.
The aim of this one-hour virtual info session is to highlight the opportunities and potential of Tractus-X for Manufacturing-X projects and to identify points of contact and entry options.
