Sixth Eclipse Tractus-X Community Days
Eclipse Tractus-X Community Days serve as a platform for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the Tractus-X ecosystem. Building on the success of previous events, these days bring together industry leaders, developers, and open source enthusiasts to shape the future of digital transformation.
The Sixth Eclipse Tractus-X Community Days took place on July 2 and 3, 2026 with great success at the ARENA2036 . Approximately 150 developers and managers from the data space came together to network, exchange knowledge, and jointly data spaces the future data spaces sovereign data spaces . Participants from various countries, including Spain, Japan, and Germany, once again worked closely together in workshops and actively contributed to the community’s further development.
Representatives from Manufacturing-X projects such as Construct-X, Semiconductor-X, and Chem-X were also present as a valuable part of the event and meaningfully enriched the program with their perspectives and insights.
The highlights of the event
The Sixth Eclipse Tractus-X Community Days provided a unique platform to discuss the latest developments in open-source projects, digital ecosystems, and collaborative data exchange . Whether you’re a developer, solution provider, or product manager—the event offered exciting insights and practical applications for everyone. Of particular note are:
- Hands-on workshops: Participants were able to take part in hands-on sessions to work with Eclipse Tractus-X tools, conduct their own experiments, and test new features.
- Networking Opportunities: The event provided an opportunity to meet colleagues and industry experts from the Catena-X ecosystem and to make valuable connections.
- Presentations & Use Cases: Insights into current projects, apps, kits, and publications—even for participants without in-depth programming knowledge.
A particular highlight this year was the interdisciplinary collaboration within the Manufacturing-X projects. Participants had the opportunity to data spaces ideas across domains via data spaces and discuss how AI in data spaces can be used in practice to promote interoperability, collaboration, and innovation in the industry.
