Final event "5G campus networks in production and logistics": SynergieRegion project. Transfer potential of networked production technologies for smart city 5G applications.

In the context of the BMDV funding guideline "5G implementation funding in the 5G innovation program", the joint project aimed to advance essential developments and tests of 5G applications for current production systems and urban areas.

During the two-day event, there will be presentations of the project results and perspectives of 5G campus networks and 5G-supported drones. In the field of networked production, quality control via camera in production, data transmission from the PLC and the control of mobile robots in intralogistics were tested, among other things. Drone scenarios include delivery logistics in the healthcare sector, building and infrastructure inspections as well as transportation and warehouse monitoring. Day one will focus on live demos and discussions with regional company representatives. Day two will focus on dialog with personalities from politics, science and business.

It is appreciated to be able to integrate knowledge from other funded projects. They share their findings in a poster session and use the conference for further exchange.
