With the support of:

The third Eclipse Tractus-X Community Days at ARENA2036 were once again a great success with more than 220 participants. With guests from countries including Japan, Spain, the USA and India, the continuous growth in international interest in the event was once again evident. For the first time, more representatives from Manufacturing-X projects also took part, such as

  • Factory-X
  • Aerospace-X
  • Semiconductor-X
  • Chem-X
  • ConstructionX

and enriched the event with new perspectives. Participants had the chance to network with a broader ecosystem and actively shape the future of open source development.

New this year: several streams used the ARENA2036 data room test environment, in which a complete Tractus X environment with federated services and the use cases was set up.

The highlights of the event

The Third Eclipse Tractus-X Community Days provided a unique platform to learn about the latest developments in open source projects, digital ecosystems and collaborative data exchange. Whether you were a developer, solution provider or product manager, the event had something to offer for anyone looking to explore technologies and innovations in the field. Here are some of the aspects that made the event stand out:

  • Practical workshops: In practical programming sessions, participants worked together with experts in the field using the Eclipse Tractus X tools.
  • Networking opportunities: Participants met colleagues and industry leaders from the Catena-X ecosystem to make valuable contacts.
  • Opening keynote and developer panel: They received input from thought leaders who have pioneered open source collaborations in the automotive and manufacturing industries.
  • Presentations: You could learn more about use cases, apps, KITs, publications and much more - even without programming knowledge.
  • New format: This December, we introduced an updated format that was tailored to different interests and levels of experience.
What was new?

This year's event introduced an exciting new structure that covered a wide range of interests and expertise. Attendees enjoyed new workshop topics that offered fresh perspectives on critical issues. In addition, the event was divided into three different sections - presentations, workshops and challenges - so there was something for everyone. Whether manager or developer, and regardless of prior knowledge or commitment, there was valuable content tailored to individual needs.
