Contents of the Deep Dive demonstration and test environment data rooms

In this deep dive, various specialist contributions and demonstrations showed how trustworthy data exchange works along supply chains, what role initiatives such as Tractus-X play in this and which applications can already be tested in real use. The focus was on technical implementation, the organizational framework and concrete added value for our community.

Fundamentals and trust in data rooms

data spaces enable the secure, federated exchange of data between partners. European initiatives such as GAIA-X, IDTA and the Eclipse Foundation ensure common standards and trust.

Tractus-X as the technological basis for X projects

Tractus-X is the Eclipse open source project that emerged from Catena-X. It forms the technical basis for all X projects and is actively supported by ARENA2036.

Practical examples: Trace-X and Connect and Integrate

With partners such as Cofinity-X and T-Systems, applications such as Trace-X and Connect and Integrate were tested on our test environment - with a focus on quality control and simple data exchange via EDCs.

ARENA2036-X: Digital infrastructure for collaboration

The ARENA2036-X test environment is functional and ready for use. It serves as a digital space for joint developments and tests - similar to our physical innovation platform.

Participation offers

To make it easier to get started, we offer convoy projects: Several participants in a supply chain enter the topic of Catena-X together, benefit from the exchange of best practices and can quickly implement their use cases in a protected test environment. In addition, we regularly invite our community to the Tractus-X Community Days to share experiences, clarify open questions and forge new partnerships.

data spaces are the key to secure, confident and trustworthy collaboration in the industry. They enable companies to share data across company boundaries - in a controlled, standardized manner and at eye level. At the Deep Dive "Demonstration and test environment data spaces" as part of Ü:MO 2025, you will experience live demonstrations of how data spaces work and what added value they offer for the various players in the data ecosystem. There will also be a demo of two existing solutions. Finally, hands-on offers will be discussed and concrete activities will be developed from the perspective of users and providers.
