Impulses and practical examples for the transformation of the wire harness industry
Wire harness production is facing a fundamental transformation from manual production to digitally networked, automated and more sustainable processes. In the Technology Session of the Transformation Hub Wire Harness , current projects and initiatives that support this change will be presented: the Robotics Challenge 2026 with a focus on automated assembly, the "Green Wiring System" network with its sustainability approaches and the SILS standardization initiative for DIN 72036. The session will show how research and industry are working together on solutions and which participation offers companies can use in the Transformation Hub Wire Harness .
