Innovation Through Collaboration – Become a Member of ARENA2036

At the ARENA2036 research campus, leading organizations from the worlds of science, business, and startups work side by side on the innovations of tomorrow. Here, solutions for technological change are developed—quickly, collaboratively, and with a direct focus on practical application. Members benefit from a unique ecosystem that fosters intensive interdisciplinary exchange and translates knowledge into concrete applications. The association’s legally neutral framework builds trust, accelerates development processes, and enables genuine cooperation on an equal footing.

Any organization that conducts its own research and is willing to collaborate on further developing it is eligible for membership.
The onboarding process is closely supported from the very beginning—from the initial contact through the organizational steps to substantive onboarding. This allows new members to quickly become part of a network that actively drives technological change.

What matters most is the willingness to collaborate—because at the ARENA2036 research campus, we achieve more together than we do alone.

“ARENA2036 serves as a beacon for the synergy between the startup ecosystem and the innovation ecosystem; it embodies collaboration and cooperation rather than traditional project boundaries.”

“At ARENA2036, we were the first in the world to test 5G-enabled localization and robot control—technologies that are already in use in various parts of the world today. What we develop at ARENA2036 finds its way into industrial applications—both at our partners’ sites and in our own plants.”

"Of the roughly 100 applications submitted for the 'BMBF Research Campus Funding Initiative' at the time, only ten were selected. ARENA2036 was always the frontrunner and has remained so ever since."

"ARENA2036 is a unique hot spot for research, industry and entrepreneurship. A wide variety of disciplines, cultures and experiences come together creatively here, which always leads to exciting insights. I am therefore particularly pleased that our Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research has the opportunity to play an active role in shaping this."
