On March 5, 2026, numerous representatives from industry and research gathered at the AREAN2036 Innovation Forum Industrial Metaverse. The aim of the event was to provide a practical look behind the scenes of the real-world laboratory and to show how digital technologies are opening up new forms of industrial value creation.

On February 10, a workshop for the EU-funded Lasers4MaaS project was held at our research campus. The workshop focused on technologies for decentralized, on-demand laser-based manufacturing.

Together with QuantumBW, we were able to provide insights into the possibilities of this technology together with experts from the fields of quantum computing, quantum sensing, and quantum networks.

The ARENA2036 Open Lab Day shows tangible ways into the industrial metaverse, with a real workshop atmosphere, clear insights into projects, and open discussions with experts from a wide range of fields on site.

The SCALE-MX Best Practice Event at ARENA2036 focused on how practical solutions for the intelligent use of data are being developed as part of Manufacturing-X. The focus was on use cases that demonstrate how companies can use data room technologies to securely exchange information, optimize processes and thus solve specific quality and sustainability challenges.  

Virtual Deep Dive shows how building twins are created, continuously maintained, and open up paths to the industrial metaverse. With clear examples, fresh ideas, and practical inspiration for planning, shop floor, and facility management.
