Artificial intelligence and machine learning processes offer great opportunities both in the production environment and in the service industry. However, with the AI Regulation (EU AI Act) in force since 2024 and the new Machinery Regulation that will apply from 2027, there is increasing uncertainty, especially among start-ups and SMEs, as to how the requirements of the regulations and AI-based applications can be implemented in a legally compliant and secure manner.

Under the motto "Tomorrow in Motion", this year's STARTUP AUTOBAHN expo powered by Plug and Play took place on June 5, 2025 at the Wizemann in Stuttgart. The event serves as a meeting point for start-ups, experts, investors and representatives of companies from the automotive industry.
