Demonstrator for piloting and testing

Sub-project 14 "Demonstrator" of the AAS4WH project focused on the practical validation and testing of the solutions developed in the project. The aim is to implement the various approaches and concepts developed in the previous sub-projects in a realistic environment and to test their suitability for practical use. The structure of the demonstrator is essentially based on the architecture described in the results documentation 1, with a few adjustments: A crimping machine, a BaSyx environment with a newly developed front end and a Komax Alpha simulation are used, among other things.

The focus of the TP is on making the usability of the BaSyx framework more user-friendly for potential users along the production process. The individual action steps are to be presented, made more comprehensible and the necessary information aggregated for each process step. In addition, a proof of concept was developed which is dedicated to change management and how this can be implemented. This demonstrates how changes in the system can be efficiently recognized, managed and tracked. The integration of these components ensures that all relevant solution approaches of the project can be mapped and tested in a comprehensive demonstrator.
