Asset Administration Shell for the Wire Harness
Development of an interoperable digital twin for the value chain of the wire harness.
SP3 "Production processes of the wire harness" focused on the systematic recording, structuring and digital description of production processes and production resources, both as a "Bill-of-Process" (BoP) sub-model of the VWS and the definition of concepts and mechanisms for dynamic process control and interaction via a Cloud Dataspace (IDS).
As a key result, the new OPC UA Companion Specification defined in SP1 "OPC 40570: OPC UA for the Wire Harness Manufacturing Industry" defined in TP1 was used in a demonstrator to connect proprietary production machines via the Eclipse BaSyx Data Bridge.

In addition, a reference example was created for mapping a production order in the "Bill of Process" submodel.
