Development of an interoperable digital twin for the value chain of the wire harness.
Concept for automated negotiation processes based on the product and machine administration shells
SP6 "Automated negotiation processes" focused on the development of a concept to enable automated negotiation between different systems (e.g. machine to machine, Wire Harness to machine or control station (MES) to machine). These negotiations are to be conducted autonomously by I4.0 components associated with the respective systems, which make decisions based on data and information.

In the concept, boundary conditions for autonomous decision-making were defined and ways for communication and interaction between autonomous I4.0 components were identified. For this purpose, I4.0 messages were defined for a VWS type 3 to enable synchronization of values and negotiation processes between Wire Harness.
